One of the world's largest multidisciplinary professional services companies with a strong hold on the Queensland mining sector, has recently secured the EPCM contract for a major coal project in the Bowen Basin. This exciting new project is about to go into execution and we are looking for a Civil and Bulk Earthworks Area Manager to manage the front end of this project.
As the Civil and Bulk Earthworks Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the civil and bulk earthworks of packages for the new site. In this position, you will be working with the Project Manager and contractors to ensure a streamlined project delivery in a zero harm environment.
To get the most out of this position, ideally you will possess following attributes:
- A relevant Civil tertiary qualification or similar.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Five years plus within the mining industry.
- Proven track record in successfully delivering civil projects within the mining industry.
- Excellent track record of lading strong site safety standards.
