Working with an engineering market leader with a worldwide reputation for quality engineering, design, project and construction management services. They have a superb portfolio of work and have enjoyed outstanding growth as a result of their reputation, high quality work and commitment to strategic expansion. This position is offered as a long-term Contract; with industry leading rates and to top it off you’ll be working on Core Projects that will make your CV look very impressive!
Due to an increase in their project portfolio, we currently have an opportunity for a Civil Designer with a mining or oil/gas background. This is a key design role within their mining/oil/gas group and we require proven experience in detailing of mine industrial area layouts or oil/gas projects including earthwork modelling. Upon joining the firm you will benefit from flexible Hours and conditions and you will be paid an hourly rate (weekly) and the possibility of an extension beyond this term.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Eligible to work in Australia
- Previous experience in a civil design capacity within the mining industry
- Experience with MicroStation or InRoads essential
- Proven ability to mentor and guide less senior designers
- Relevant qualifications in Design/Drafting
