A large Alliance that has been devised to deliver new rail infrastructure to support the developing coal industry in the Hunter Valley region require a Civil Project Engineer with strong rail experience to join their team. A long term permanent position is available with an excellent remuneration package to assist a very busy team of professionals.
You will be working within a team dedicated to the construction of passing loops and experience working on large rail projects will be highly beneficial. You will possess a strong background in ballast and understand the fundamentals of track laying.
You are a qualified Civil Engineer or time served engineer that is able to hit the ground running on this busy project. You have excellent communication skills and can liaise with people across all levels. Your daily duties will be varied but will involve scheduling, procurement, management of sub-contractors and performing site inspections.
Geographically, the sites are based across the Hunter Valley and therefore, you will be comfortable with travelling away from the head office in Newcastle.
