Successfully operating in the civil construction industry for over 20 years this organisation is a developer of first class staff, with award winning training systems, benefits and incentive programs. The project is located west of the Sunshine Coast and consists of a $25M upgrade of an existing highway. The stretch of road was damaged during Queensland’s floods and a team is in place to deliver: bulk earthworks, pavements, excavations and road furniture. Traffic management will also be important keep the road open, while liaising with TMR Representatives.
Local contractors and suppliers have been engaged and there are Engineers and Supervisors in place to assist you. We are searching for an experienced Civil Project Manager with 10 years’ in the industry and recent experience delivering similar projects with a R3 prequalification.
You will have functional authority for all aspects of the project and be responsible for:
- Liaising with client Main Roads
- Review of contract documentation
- Monitoring costs against budget
- Claim administration
- Managing site team and sub contactors
Civil Engineering qualifications are essential as well as previous experience dealing with governments bodies such as the Department of Main Roads. Upon completion of this project a position will be available in Brisbane helping deliver infrastructure projects in south east Queensland.
