We are currently working with a leading international engineering and environmental consultancy who are seeking a high calibre Graduate Civil/Structural Engineer to join their highways and infrastructure division.
Qualifications / Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate qualification and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status
- Design of Civil Engineering Structures and infrastructure for major Highways, Industrial, Power and/or Water sectors.
- Working knowledge of Eurocodes
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD, Superstress, LEAP, Revit, CADS, TEDDS, or similar Structural/Bridge Engineering software
- Bridge Engineering for Highways, Rail, Water, or heavy Industrial.
- Experience in the design and analysis of foundations / piling
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate and technically review reports
- Experience of working with, and managing project teams and where necessary acting as lead designer
- Ability to work to deadlines, within budget and to programme, to control costs and to effectively manage resources and change control
