We are currently partnered with an engineering consultancy offering technical expertise to its clients worldwide. As a multiple disciplinary consultancy they design and manage notable projects delivering expert solutions to their clients.
They focus on creating effective teams by promoting innovation, cooperation and knowledge. Offering attractive employee benefits our client seeks to employee a talented Civil Water (waste water) Engineer to join its water group.
The ideal candidate will have a variety of experience in industrial water management and associated infrastructure. You will autonomously monitor, plan and design water infrastructure in treatment projects.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be degree qualified with at least 7 years' experience
- Have proven design experience in large infrastructure projects
- Expert knowledge of legislation in Queensland legislation and Australian standards
- Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal) to liaise with clients and authorities
- Work as an effective team player
- Proven experience dealing with water collection and pump station structures
- Be eligible to work in Australia
Responsibilities include:
- Design of water associated infrastructure including but not limited to; pump stations, stormwater, storage ponds, pipeline (water slurry and dust suppression)
- Water assessments (supply, recycle and storage)
- Writing quality reports and associated documentation
- Managing and controlling budgets and costs for tender documents
- Mentoring junior engineers and drafters
