Claims Adjuster
One of the world`s leading mutual marine liability insurers and a prominent member of the international group of PI clubs, is looking for an experienced PI Claims Handler to join their London team.
The main purpose of this role is to handle a wide variety of PI, FDD and personal injury claims and to minimise third party claims against the Club`s Members in a cost-effective and flexible manner.
You will be working on your own case load but will be supported by a senior executive acting as a mentor, and your direct line manager.
The successful candidate will fit into one of two profiles:
1.) A relatively inexperienced candidate holding an LLM degree or a relevant commercial legal qualification. You will be frustrated by the potential prospects of a career in private practice, and be intrigued by by the longer term prospects that a career within marine insurance can offer.
2.) You will be experienced within Marine claims, operating in either the Lloyds or London markets, and be fully versed in handling or adjusting marine claims. You may be working in either an Underwriting company, or a broking house.
