Claims Advisor (Property & Commercial)
Full Job Description
- To manage a caseload of allocated claims up to your financial authority from claim registration to settlement, in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
- To ensure that appropriate technical guidance is provided on individual claims. Offer advice on claims technical matters within own and team authority.
- To provide customer service in line withthe clientsvalues, teleprocessing queries upon the progress of claims according to Company guidelines delivering consistent quality service in accordance with SLA`s.
- To ensure that customer complaints are resolved promptly to customer satisfaction and provide feedback to Claims Complaints Co-ordinator.
- Encourage and manage Continuous Improvement Process within your control.
- To work co-operatively with colleagues to adopt an environmentally friendly culture withinthe businessand adhere to the Company`s green approach within the workplace.
- To ensure that our customers are treated in accordance with the principles of Treating Customers Fairly at all times.
Our client is looking for a candidate with previous experience working within a commercial property role and also posses the following:
- Good commercial product knowledge and claims management skills
- Good standard of general education
- Good written and verbal skills
- Fraud awareness
- Accuracy and attention to detail imperative
- Good interpersonal skills are necessary, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people
- Capability to work on ones own initiative and liaise effectively with all levels of management as required
- PC skills essential - MS Word MS Excel
