Claims Advisor

Pay: £14475pa
We are looking to recruit for experienced claims advisors due to growth and expansion for my client based in Altrincham. The organisation has been established for over 25 years and is one of the UK’s top 40 insurance brokers. My client currently operates with 350 employees, 200 of which form the contact centre operation in which this role will sit.
This is a permanent position and candidates need to be able to work shifts between the hours of 8am-6pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm once every 3 Saturdays. Please do not apply if not fully flexible to work these hours, 37.5hours a week.

Duties
Answering both inbound and outbound calls from customers, insurers, repairs and solicitors.
Providing advice and support to customers that have been involved in a motoring incident.
Establishing customer needs to provide referrals where appropriate
Chasing third party insurers for recovery of charges.
Inputting estimates and dealing with salvage agents
Directing entitled clients to credit hire vehicles and recoverability.
Self-manage workload and keeping up to date with case files.
Experience Skills
Must have 12 months experience of working in a insurance claims role
Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
Be a great team player.
Have the ability to build good rapport with clients, showing empathy when required.
Be committed to delivering quality service at all times.
Show a willingness to learn and progress your career.
Have excellent communication skills.
