THE COMPANY:
Our client is a leading insurance business which has a national presence and provides customers with industry leading insurance products and services.
THE ROLE:
An opportunity exists for an experienced Case Manager to join the retail and group claims teams. Reporting to the Senior Claims Manager, you will be required to assess claimant entitlements to benefits under various disability, income and lump sum policies. Other key responsibilities include:
- Assess and manage a portfolio of Income Protection claims using various case management, rehabilitation and investigative methods
- Ability to think outside the square to find solutions for customers
- Provide exceptional levels of customer service and ensuring that work is completed within the agreed service levels
- Assist with wider business by maintaining accurate claims data
- Work alongside and develop great working relationships with internal/external stakeholders that include financial advisers, solicitors, rehab professionals, and other medical practitioners
YOUR DETAILS:
- A minimum of 2 years previous claims assessment experience or a case management background in the field of worker cover or rehabilitation
- Ability to establish relationships with stakeholders internal/external
- Sound verbal and written communications skills
