Claims Assistant
Dynamic service-oriented organization has an immediate opening for a claims assistant in the Workers' Compensation Claims Department in our Lubbock Field Office.
Provide general assistance to the claims department. Identifies new claim notices, initiates in-house set-up procedures, and assures all filing of claims information is complete. Codes finalized claims notices and payables into computer system and routes documentation to appropriate department. Knowledge of spelling, punctuation, and business English is required. Must have ability to use a personal computer u sing standard word processing and database software or terminal accessing a mainframe computer, and typing speed of at least 45wpm.
Starting monthly salary is $2831 (DOQ) with a complete benefits package.
