Claims Audit & Development Manager

Full Job Description

As part of our continued expansion our client isnow looking for a Claims Audit and Development Manager to become an integral part of our Senior Claims Management Team.

Reporting to the Claims Director you will develop, deliver and manage a robust Audit and Development programme across the whole claims operation to action agreed recommendations.
Responsibilities include :
- Providing Training Needs Analysis across the claims function and make recommendations for corrective action plans to minimise Leakage and improve Quality.
- Developing a specific Audit programme to analyse Leakage and make recommendations to meet business targets.
- Supporting strategic projects with other areas of the business and coordinate training schedules to support Business as usual.
- Be responsible for the creation and Management of Audit and Training documentation ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Providing monthly operational and informational Audit and Training reports, including claims benchmarking, Leakage, Training progression and performance improvement.
- Direct responsibility for the management of internal and external Audit, Training, Compliance and Complaints Teams, providing motivational Leadership, contributing technical and operational expertise in the resolution of problems and issues.

Our client is looking for someone with the following skills and experiences:
An experienced Claims Professional with detailed knowledge of claims best practice, particularly in relation to effective cost-leakage control, Quality, Training and Compliance.

Have a full understanding of FSA requirements and current FOS rulings, including TCF and Data Protection Regulations and a highly developed understanding of the impact of all relevant legislation upon Motor Claims Handling.

Have a proven track record of successful Leadership including Mentoring, Coaching and Development of others fostering an environment that encourages team work and collaboration.

Excellent written oral communication skills and you`ll be an effective networker with strong presentation skills and experience in internal and external stakeholder relationship management.

Be commercially aware with a good understanding of current Industry standards and regulatory requirements, including Complaints, Compliance and managing the `Customer Journey`.
