Claims Controller – Property & Engineering, Permanent, Singapore recruitment
Reporting to the Head of Claims, you will be responsible for claims management of the property engineering team, and to assist in the development of training programmes for both internal and external clients. You will be working closely with the underwriting and client management team.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
- Developing and managing claims settlement strategies
- Identifying coverage and anomalies of claims by clients
- Managing client relationships from a claims perspective
In order to be considered for this position, you should possess:
- At least 5 years of claims management experience in insurance/reinsurance industry. Engineering/marine/casualty claims handling experience would be an advantage.
- Fellowship of CII and/or ANZIIF or suitable tertiary qualification
- Good understanding of basic legal principles with experience in interpreting legal and claims reports; and identifying legal or contractual anomalies
- Excellent command of English and market-specific language skills
- Knowledge of relevant IT tools and programmes
