Claims Information Specialist Job in Red Bank 07701, New Jersey US

General Purpose of Job:

The position is responsible for updating and developing various reports and exhibits in support of the informational needs of Claims management. In addition, the individual will work with the financial specialists by performing Claims system input and documentation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a knowledge base of data sources, such as those managed by Product, Finance, and Claims.
  • Updates recurring exhibits and charts in line with the monthly priority list.
  • Identifies possible errors or suspicious results in the source data for review and/or correction.
  • Prepares basic analysis to accompany the distribution of selected informational releases.
  • Implements revisions to existing reports in reaction to changing needs or organization.
  • Updates the quarterly benchmarking graphs for subrogation and salvage.
  • Assists management with certain aspects of Claims’ annual budget process.
  • Supports the financial specialist function by performing each of the related activities, such as systems entry of recoveries, reconciliation, tasking of void and stop pay information, and stale date check resolution with the Claims offices.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in clear, concise terminology.
  • Basic analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to adjust to fluctuating priorities and handle more than one assignment at a time.
  • Knowledge of Stone River claims system (CWS) and ImageRight is beneficial, but will train.

    Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four - year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products, especially Excel.
