Claims/Loss Control Services Admin

 - Large, privately-held independent insurance agency needs experienced Claims/Loss Control assistant for large commercial accounts. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

·         This position provides administrative support to the agency’s Claims ServicesCoordinator, and the Risk Management/Loss Control Supervisor. 

·         As the client liaison for all Claims and Loss Control services provided by the agency, this position will coordinate the orientation of new accounts, set-up and maintain client claims spreadsheets, and serve as a point of contact for all Claims and Loss Control service issues.

·         This individual will assist in screening new losses to determine liability and identify coverage exposures.

·         Complete claim intake, all reporting forms and file documentation.  A high attention to detail is required.

·         Assist in vendor management for Loss Control products and purchasing.

·         Communicate and coordinate with both insureds and agency management.

·         Analyze and evaluate policyholder loss data to determine loss causes and trends.

 

Minimum Requirements:

·         3-5 Years experience in administrative support in claims and working knowledge of claims processing and analysis. 

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint); advanced Excel skills a MUST.

·         This position requires excellent written and oral communication skills and the demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work.

·         Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a solid customer service orientation are required.

·         GA insurance agent or adjusters license, in good standing, a plus.

·         Experience with agency management system software (any) or AMS 360 a plus.

·         Must possess a high level of initiative and demonstrate the ability to work both independently and as a team with high productivity expectations in a fast paced environment.

 

Compensation package includes group health paid by company, 401k plan, vacation and company paid holidays.
