Claims Manager Job in Sydney 2000, New South Wales Australia
This large ASX listed manufacturing company based in Western Sydney (Parramatta) operates a diversified portfolio of products and facilities across Australia and overseas. Consistently delivering environmentally sustainable solutions to their customers, this business is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced National Claims Manager to come in and take autonomy of the role. Working closely with the Senior Management team, this position will be responsible for effectively managing the product claims process for the Australian business.
The business itself it expanding globally, and key to their growth strategy is maintaining their leadership status in the provision of superior product and services. This role is an important part of the quality improvement focus of the business - this includes the analysis of claims data collection, and the feedback of issues to manufacturing and product development.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Reducing claims
- Relaying key technical issues back to research, product development and manufacturing
- Putting forward warranty advice to key staff
- Ensuring all sales staff understand their role in the claims process
- Dealing with external stakeholders and customers
To the successful in the role, candidates will have:
- Strong claims background (minimum 5 years)
- Ideally manufacturing experience
- Good negotiation skills
- Computer literacy in terms of Excel spreadsheets
- Good project management skills
- Ability to effective drive change in the workplace
- Organisational skills, be a self starter
- A customer focus
- A passion about quality
- A team focus
