Job Summary:
Perform a variety of duties for functional groups being supported by the Administration/ Operations team which allows the office to function at a high level of efficiency and compliance. Provide support to include but not limited to database management, customer inquiries, coding projects, exception financial processing, operational reporting, report distribution and management, jurisdictional form processing, vendor invoice resolution and other administrative projects as assigned. Ability to apply and meet operational best practices expectations surrounding financial transactions and monitoring controls. Routines are defined and work is managed under supervision.
Job Accountabilities:
1. Handles key support functions for office, as outlined in operations best practices
2. Manages exception financial processing, including wire transfers, recovery processing and payments, per defined workflows
3. Generates distributes and processes internal control reports or other operational reporting per defined workflows
4. Manages database records as appropriate
5. Responds to customer inquiries quickly, accurately and in a professional manner. Offers first level problem resolution to customers and escalates inquiries appropriately.
6. Assists with claims set up, researches complex claim and policy coding issues and documentation retrieval as appropriate
7. Applies knowledge of complex operational best practices and procedures to daily activities
8. Identifies and resolves problems by referring to procedural documentation and reference materials
9. Offers process improvement ideas
10. Provides administrative support for jurisdictional form processing through demonstrated knowledge of claim data and form requirements
11. Provides prompt, courteous and high quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs
12. Completes assigned work within established standards for timeliness and accuracy
Job Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
*High School Diploma or equivalent, required
*3 or more years of clerical/office experience, required
*Demonstrated ability to handle internal and external customers in a professional manner
*Strong computer skills, knowledge of MS Office Software
*Strong customer service skills
*Strong interpersonal skills
*Ability to interact with multiple levels of management
*Demonstrated ability to provide expertise and provide guidance to team members and business partners.
*Demonstrated history of quality and timeliness in work product
*Demonstrated problem solving skills
*Must be detial oriented, able to multi-task, and well organized
Preferred Qualifications:
*Previous workers compensation insurance experience, preferred
*Previous experience using Lotus Notes, preferred
