Provider of satellite entertainment programming to U.S households Clarity Administrator Resource Management position requires an advanced level of proficiency and expertise within the Resource, Project, Program and Portfolio Management domains. Also requires advanced expertise in the technical aspects of Clarity, SQL Server and Business Objects. A Candidate must also have proven levels of expertise and proficiency in several key disciplines and methodologies relating to Information Technology (IT), System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Demand Management. The Candidate will be responsible for the support, maintenance and administration of the Clarity tool's Resource Management area. The position will require hands-on analysis to establish and monitor policies and processes surrounding the Resource Capacity Management discipline that ranges from resource data to all elements of capacity planning. This includes responsibility for generating internal reports as directed by management to communicate progress and trends, communication of outcomes of key prioritization and approval meetings, and providing support to all Resource Managers. This Candidate must also be able to collaborate with partner departments in the execution of these responsibilities. Because of the cross functional nature of this work, the candidate must also have strong verbal and written communication skills. An ideal Candidate must have the ability to successfully support multiple efforts and iterations within this functional area. This includes the ability to identify, analyze and communicate issues to management and assist in driving problems to resolution, completing all tasks within committed timeframes, and effectively communicating across teams and levels of management. Responsibilities : Provide technical support for the Resource Management aspects of Clarity Create and Maintain analytics needed to drive key Resource Management decisions (data integrity, capacity management, security model) Provide technical support and analysis for Clarity upgrades and patches Advise and guide Analysts and Resource Managers in the maintenance and support of the Resource data in Clarity Ensure users are adhering to agreed Resource Management policies, processes Support training and compliance with other common tools (excel, business objects, sql server). Drive continuous improvement to the data integrity of the Resource data in the IT Portfolio Mentor and guide the team towards success and align them with Resource Management best practices along with the Portfolio Management and IT Governance goals. Manage and recommend other portfolio tools that may be adopted in Portfolio Management that can add to optimization of Resource Management Support activity surrounding quarterly SOX audits Manage internal reports for analysis throughout the portfolio life cycle as requested by the Governance team, management or other users Support the relationship with other team members and IT departments to ensure a reliable flow of Resource data in support of capacity tracking. Provide guidance and coaching to Resource and Project Managers in the maintenance of resource records, resource assignments and resource allocations through Clarity BA/BS in Business Administration or equivalent degree 7+ years experience within the IT Project and Portfolio Management (IT PPM) discipline or the progression through Project Management Office/Protocol Support Office (PMO/PSO), project, program, portfolio management domains Must have experience in technical writing and public speaking Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Word. Advanced Clarity knowledge, or equivalent tool Advanced SQL Server knowledge, or equivalent tool Advanced Business Objects knowledge, or equivalent tool Coaching and Training Diplomacy Ability to learn quickly, work efficiently and independently
