Class 1 Driver Job in Grimsby, Midlands Uk
Class 1 driver required for local and national runs. Mostly day runs, some nights may be required. Pay rate will be £8.25 for 8 hours then overtime for days. Nights will be £9.25 for 8 hours then overtime. Majority of work will be general haulage so previous experience would be an advantage. Work will be for clients based in Immingham, Stallingborough, Killingholm and Grimsby and will cover all aspects of class 1 work eg: curtain siders, tilts, containers, fridges and euroliners and tippers. Nights out as and when required.
You will need your own transport due to a variety of work locations. A good working knowledge of the Road Transport Regulations is essential. After completion of qualifying period, you will be eligible for company sick pay.
You will need a valid C+E licence and digi card. A good geographical knowledge would be advantageous.
