We require professional, enthusiastic, and committed drivers to perform delivery and driving tasks for the majority of the national builders merchants.
We require drivers that can drive CAT C (Class 2) and that can operate lorry mounted cranes (to an accredited standard). The main part of this role will focus on the daily deliveries of building products and materials to customers and clients in the surrounding areas.
You will be working with our clients and their customers, so the ability to communicate politely and efficiently is essential. At times you will be working in all weathers and at varying times of the day.
At Manpower UK Ltd we provide all of our drivers with Holiday pay (pro rata), uniform and Company Sick pay after a qualifying period. The work that we offer varies from client to client. We are searching for those that have positive can do attitude and a desire to try hard to do a good job. In addition to the many benefits that Manpower can offer you as an employer we also provide training (after a qualifying period) so you can progress your skills within this ever changing industry.
The ideal candidate will need to have a valid class 2 driving licence with a digital tachograph card. Someone who has worked in the building trade performing deliveries using a HIAB or a lorry mounted crane would suit this role. You will be required to work from around 7.00 am in the morning performing deliveries and collections to various clients.
Must have a Cat C Licence with an accredited Allmi Remote HIAB / Lorry Loader Licence
