Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain

Security Clearance Requirements:  Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. 

Typical Minimums High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and 3 Years of experience.

Position located at Santa Barbara Focalplane in Goleta, California. Detector/Semiconductor Fabrication, Focal Plane Array, Microelectronics, and/or Electronics

Candidate must be able to perform all aspects of one or more of the following: semiconductor Photolithography process,Wet/Dry etch processes,Operate within and maintain cleanliness requirements of class 100 clean room. Position requires complete knowledge of safe handling processes for hazardous chemicals and chemical waste, the ability to enter process information into production and engineering level computer databases, and work with production supervision and production engineering. Applicant must be able to interface and coordinate with engineers and technicians in other areas of the semiconductor fabrication process such includint Deposition/thin film coating, Dicing, DPT, Production Control, and QA

Once hired, candidate should expect to rotate and learn different functions of the production floor during their employment.

The Locale:  Goleta is a city in southern Santa Barbara County, California. It was incorporated as a city in 2002, after a long period as the largest unincorporated, populated area in the county. The population was 29,888 at the 2010 census. It is known for being near the University of California, Santa Barbara campus, although the CDP of Isla Vista is closer.  Much of Goleta is considered to be a quiet suburban community while Santa Barbara tends to attract most of the tourists and the area's residents. Goleta is about 8 miles west of the city of Santa Barbara, along the coast (the coast runs east to west in this portion of southern California).
