This small, long established accountancy practice currently has a job opening for a qualified accountant. Based in Central London, you will be joining an excellent practice with a family atmosphere.
Due to the current direction the firm is going in, they are looking for a qualified accountant with good general practice experience who can prepare accounts for a variety of entities, conduct audit from planning through to completion and handle tax compliance. Your duties will include all of the previous, including reviewing the work of juniors, reporting directly to partners and being the main point of contact for all clients questions and queries. You will work directly for two of the partners, whose client base is varied and range from retail and restaurants to solicitors and the construction industry.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with experience in preparing management and year end accounts, as well as carrying out audit and confident in meeting and liaising with clients. Excellent communication skills are essential and as well as the ability to work efficiently while paying close attention to detail. You need to be organised and skilled at delegating work to juniors when necessary. ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is required, experience using Viztopia and Pcas audit system is desirable. The potential for progression is very much here for the right individual.
