Clearing Operations Officer
Clearing Officer required by Leader in banking to support the operations area with Management, ordering, reconciliation, security, position management, price control – of cash positions in any currency but principally in GBP / CNY / EUR / USD.
You will also look after transaction recording and accounting, have liaison with Agency clearing in UK for cheque processing and own and update the process map and procedures for cash operations.
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
Preferably worked in a chief cashier position already
Essential to have multi-currency (Bureau) experience including understanding FX rates.
You will be fully conversant with security precautions and handling of large cash positions with an understanding of accounting background to cash and over the counter cashier transactions
You will be familiar with operations of vaults and reconciliation of cash positions and fully conversant with all aspects of regulatory requirements from AML and Financial Crime
Mandarin speaking an advantage but not essential
