Full Job Description
Job Purpose:
To place and administer Clients` Insurance Programmes working alongside the Client Executive
Main Responsibilities:
Working in a busy and diverse team of 10 dedicated advisors and 2 Team Leaders servicing over 750 Multinational Clients.
Responsible for own portfolio of accounts ranging from standard statutory covers to large multidivisional complex risks.
RENEWAL PROCESS
Action all renewal procedures from start to finish as per the Multinational timeline, including renewal strategy, risks, presentations to the market, negotiations of terms obtained from insurers and full creation of a Renewal Report;
Request and analyse underwriting information;
Prepare and submit accurate market presentations and slips (as required) in consultation with the Client Executive;
Collate and negotiate renewal terms with existing and prospective insurers;
Assist in preparation of client renewal reports;
Produce and-or request Insurer documentation as per legislative and regulatory requirements;
Show proactive responses and reaction to existing clients growth and expanded services opportunities.
NON-RENEWAL SERVICES
Act as first point of contact within service team for day to day client insurance queries;
Administer mid term changes to risk;
Attend Client and Insurer meetings as requested;
Assist in the preparation of reports on specific projects, as requested;
Review and comment on Indemnity and Insurance clauses.
The successful candidate will have:
2-3 years experience from an insurance background;
A good understanding of corporate - commercial lines of insurance;
A working knowledge of the broking process;
A good knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook);
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing;
Ability to identify opportunities for business development;
Good time management skills.
