Client Associate
Basic Function:
Technical expertise, quantitative inclination, project and resource management skills, problem solving acumen, detail focused and organizational strength and the ability to lead others are requisite skills. Additionally, the CA will be expected to interact extensively with Consultants and their clients and prospects, and to take an active and contributory role in sales and consulting meetings, and in preparing client and internal correspondence.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Play an active role in questionnaire development and design process, including preparing questionnaire for design meeting and creating questionnaire specifications
- Support development of new research programs and RD initiatives
- Work with Consultants to develop report specifications
- Review incremental data for accuracy and completeness, making suggestions to Consultants and identifying data errors and issues and driving their resolution
- Coordinate delivery schedule of assigned clients with the sector team
- Travel with Consultants, as necessary, to participate in sales meetings
- Work with Consultants to organize sales planning efforts and to draft sales proposals
- Communicate new sales to sector team and the finance team to be added to CRM system
- Develop action plans as sales are finalized to achieve accurate and timely delivery to clients
- Develop high visibility with clients through meetings and phone contact to increase value, quicken response time, and leverage Consultants’ time, traveling as necessary
- Educate clients on Greenwich Associates’ products and methods, as well as assist them in using our research materials
- Coordinate Consultant or client requests with the internal research team
- Assist in/contribute to presentations or meetings
- Coordinate special projects from inception at sales/consulting meetings to final delivery to clients
- Answer client inquiries and follow through on client requests, while keeping the Consultant and sector team fully informed
- Coordinate and prepare the preparation of presentations based on first-hand knowledge of client needs.
- Assist Consultant in drafting all client correspondence, including consulting letters as well as executive summaries and recommendations for all client presentations
- Act as liaison with clients for online tools
- Call or visit clients during the off cycle to ask if any assistance would be helpful, maintaining year-long contact
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and foster teamwork and collaboration both within the Investment Management sector, and across the CA team.
Qualifications/Experience:
First or upper second class undergraduate degree from leading university
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrably strong written and oral communication skills
- High standard of professionalism, trustworthy
- Self-motivated with drive to succeed in a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Flexibility for travel and contact during non-business hours; ability to train in the U.S. Stamford, CT office when necessary
- Proven quantitative and problem solving aptitude
- Strong organization and planning capabilities
- English fluency a prerequisite, fluency in a second language is a plus
