The Client Care Specialist (CCS) aka Account Manager is responsible for all communication with a client or other third parties as they relate to a loan after it has been initially underwritten. The CCS primary function is to handle all communication on the loan in order to obtain the necessary documents to move a loan to closing. They also ensure that new mortgage loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures. Qualifications: All CCS's must successfully complete QU Training and also pass an annual exam with at least a 90%. Ongoing training may also be required as deemed necessary by Operations Directors, Divisional Vice-Presidents and Quicken University. The following qualities are critical to the CCS position: - Ability to explain underwriting conditions to our partners. - Strong trouble shooting skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Communicates clearly and concisely while being aware of their audience. - Quickly learns multi-step processes and follows them through. - Proposes solutions to problems and utilizes all available resources. - Possesses a strong attention to detail. - Effectively prioritizes their workload with ability to multi-task. - Strong knowledge of Products and Underwriting guidelines. - Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. - At least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
