Client Clearing (Rates/ Credit)
Investment Bank in the City is looking to hire an experienced Relationship Manager to join their OTC Client Clearing team.
The team act as an escalation point for PB, Rates and Credit clients. Your stakeholders will include regulators, sales and trading, operations and technology across varying regions.
It will be important for the successful candidate to have experience and understanding of Investment Banking operations and the trade lifecycle, as well as having a project management mind-set.
Responsibilities will include;
• Change Management/Project Management implementation for new clearing products, new CCPs and new client requirements.
• Ownership and delivery as well as strong understanding on client service/client relationship management projects – clearing flows, new products, new CCP’s
• Including client feedback and requirement gathering for internal or industry consideration
• Implementation of Client Relationship Management strategies
• Build strong client relationships and partner with them for clearing and PB
• Escalation point of contact for all client issues (trade booking, collateral, reporting, reconciliations)
• Ensure all client issues are resolved by interacting with internal departments and providing them 100% resolution. Ensure all client issues have been closed out with the client advising of actions taken and ensuring client is satisfied.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders – IT, Trade Services, Middle Office, SRMs and the business (Product Development and Client Experience teams primarily
• Pro-active communication, both with internal stakeholders and clients
• Arrange Client visits for Operational review meetings
Experience required for this position;
Credit/ Interest Rate derivatives experience
Project/ Change management experience
Client and control focussed
Client relationship expertise
Understanding and appreciation of operational risk
Any European language skills would be a huge advantage
