Client & Distribution Leader recruitment

Key Responsibilities:

The primary purpose is to accelerate profitable sales growth and retention by supporting underwriting in achieving their profitability targets. Through their marketing efforts and the delivery of high quality and original solutions, they enhance the reputation of the firm’s Network.

First, the role aims to understand client and broker needs and match these with firm’s expertise and appetite. Key in doing this will be the ability to articulate the innovative and customized solutions the firm brings to their risk management needs.

Second, the role holder is required to work with underwriters to retain and grow their books of business while maintaining the highest levels of account service.

Third, the role is responsible for strengthening the quality and depth of relationship with the firm’s brokers and clients and, in so doing, develop a pipeline of opportunities for the firm’s underwriting units.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The major responsibilities of the CDL will be as set out below:

Financial Performance

Work with the firm’s underwriters to ensure retention ratios, premium growth and profitability at targeted levels.

Manage own expenses within budgeted levels.

Client Relationship Management:

Act as relationship leader on assigned portfolio of accounts in order to retain and grow profitable business

Work with underwriters to determine target accounts and pursue / develop relationship with brokers and prospective clients to position for opportunities on their business

Increase the awareness among clients about the firm’s product solutions, cross sell new products and increase product density

Distribution Management:

Develop and effectively manage assigned brokerage relationships in collaboration with underwriting colleagues

Identify and profile assigned brokers to positions the firm’s products that align with broker needs

By effectively marketing the firm and its products to the broker community, increase appropriate submission flow and development of pipeline for underwriting units
