Client Documentation
Part of the unit responsible for the negotiation and completion of Client Master Agreements and related collateral agreements (ISDA, CSA. CSD, FX Prime Brokerage, Repo, Securities Lending, Exchange Traded Derivatives and Cleared OTC Derivatives) with counterparties in Europe, Middle East and Africa, including banks, mutual, pension and hedge funds, corporates and insurance companies.
The negotiators are responsible for negotiating master agreements and resolving related issues, such as capacity, to ensure the optimum reduction of risk in line with the credit and legal policies/standards of the bank. Role involves extensive contact with clients and their lawyers (including occasional conference calls and meetings) and liaison with our business, credit officers, collateral management, client infrastructure team, tax and the wider legal department and, on occasion, our external counsel.
Requirements
Candidates should be motivated, self-starters with the ability to work independently without supervision, who are looking to take responsibility and develop, as well as being a strong team player who is flexible and adaptable and committed to providing the businesses with the highest levels of support and service and well as achieving results. Must be able to work under pressure, prioritise and respond to deadlines. Good common sense with good oral and written communication skills, an eagerness to learn and good organisation skills are essential. The candidate should be personable and able to liaise, communicate and foster good co-operative working relationships both internally and externally.
