Client Executive

Full Job Description

Job Purpose:
To develop and service a portfolio of existing clients to achieve a designated brokerage target, profitable business growth and meet client service goals.

Main Responsibilities:
Develop and foster client relationships to attract new business and further develop-retain existing client business
Identify and develop new business opportunities;
Cross sell company products;
Provide an efficient client service;
Undertake assigned project work;
Monitor client, competitor and market developments;
Comply with relevant legal and regulatory requirements;
Accountable for own performance and compliance against objectives and standards;
Delegated authority to make operational decisions within guidelines that impact on own business area.

Skills and Experience:
Managing a portfolio of clients to retain and grow income;
Experience of presenting to clients and insurers;
Experience of negotiating with insurers and clients;
Confident and adaptable with an ability to form strong business relationships;
Ability to self motivate and manage own time effectively;
Ability to work under time pressure.

Knowledge required:
Knowledge of commercial general experience;
Knowledge of education insurance.
The individual will be working from home but will ideally need to live in the East (i.e.. Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, North London) as they will be covering those areas plus Essex and East London. There will also occasionally be the need to assist other team members in Suffolk, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire
