No Primary Purpose Integrally involved in the process to acquire new clients and engagements and responsible for all aspects of assigned engagements. Direct the development of processes and techniques to improve operations and develop marketable service offerings. Provide input on the strategic plans for the organization. Utilize capabilities exhibiting thought leadership. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to the development and implementation of the strategic direction and objectives. Achieves or exceeds financial and productivity goals. Manages employees in engagements and provide input for performance management and compensation. Guides the career development of other employees in the firm. Provide mentoring and overall performance evaluation. Evaluates employee contribution to specific engagements. Creates opportunities via engagement assignments for the development of an employee?s competencies Leads quality assurance reviews for engagements and serves as part of the quality assurance team. Studies and contributes to keeping the valued competencies current and leading within the industry. Consulting Capability Creates leverages and maintains productive key relationships within client organizations. Seeks opportunities with existing or new clients. Contributes toward the acquisition of engagements. Identifies and addresses critical success factors for complex engagements. Analyzes and aligns solutions with the business objectives. Simultaneously manages multiple engagements, as necessary. Secures receivables from clients during and after completion of engagements. Develops or encourages creation of profitable service products to be sold to clients in the solution sets of: strategic change, performance improvement, technology solutions or other defined area of expertise. Industry Knowledge Capability Delivers innovative solutions from concept through implementation for client engagements. Serves as an adviser to engagement teams. Supports industry-related quality reviews of complex projects. Applies industry knowledge, expertise and best practices to generate solutions for engagement issues. Minimum Qualifications Education: Master?s degree with experience. Does not need Master?s degree Experience: Successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously. Contributor to acquire new engagements. Business development of 1-2 years. 12-15 years business/consulting experience. Preferred Job Qualifications Accomplished project management skills.
