Client Facing – Trade Finance – Product specialist
This exciting position is a great opportunity for someone with a strong grasp of trade finance products to move into a client facing role with a leading team in the market. This role will work directly with the relationship managers and will be liaising directly with clients.
Candidates looking to apply for this position must have experience in:
• Strong analytical skills- document knowledge- term sheets experience necessary
• Everyday experience of drafting and-or vetting import and-or export Letters of Credit (L-C) formats for clients prior to issuance
• Ideal candidate will be working as a middle or back office trade finance position as a credit analyst or as a front office documents clerk in trade finance
• Checked import documents, and processed bills and effected payments on maturity and reviewed and issued import Letters of Credit (L-Cs)
• Liaising and working with external clients, relationship Managers, middle office, treasury and FX departments and counterparty banks on a daily basis
• Successful candidate will need good communication skills to work closely with front office bankers- legal- risk and other teams
