The Client Information Control (CLIC) Team is a group within Fixed Income Sales Management that is responsible for efficiently and effectively remediating client information to satisfy various regulatory and control requirements. The group interacts frequently with clients as well as coordinating daily with multiple internal counterparts including Sales, Legal Compliance, Operations and the Enterprise Data and Services Group.

Client Information Control Manager
for our Budapest office
The group's responsibilities include ensuring client issues are promptly raised, escalated and resolved in a timely manner; researching and analysing client information to resolve outstanding requests; reaching out to sales and clients to obtain necessary information/documentation to meet the Firm's regulatory requirements. Strong management experience and an understanding of regulatory requirements and our corresponding Firm policies is required.
This position is for a Manager who will manage the local team that work with the sales teams and Morgan Stanley clients to gather and review the necessary information. This role requires strong relationship management, organizational and communication skills in order to have a successful impact on the team and process. The candidate must have a strong team management background, be able to exhibit strong analytical, problem solving and research skills and should have compliance related experience, preferably in anti-money laundering (AML), with an understanding of the current regulatory environment.
Primary Duties Responsibilities:
• Manage local team of Fixed Term Contractors and the Global Rolling Review process
• Work independently, acting on own initiative to coordinate team activity and drive progress
• Provide status reporting and escalate issues to CLIC Team management, as appropriate
• Work with Morgan Stanley teams in London and Budapest to monitor progress on the Global Rolling Review and escalate unresolved cases directly to the sales teams
• Liaise with internal departments, sales and clients to obtain information and documentation required for the Global Rolling Review and explain requirements where necessary
• Manage existing client relationships and effectively communicate regulatory requirements
• Possess an in-depth understanding of the Firm's Global Rolling Review policy and of the internal processes, procedures, reports and controls related to this policy
• Refine tools and reporting used to facilitate the Client Information Control process
Skills Required
• 3-5 years in the financial industry is advantageous - preferably in a compliance, regulatory or client onboarding role and with experience of Morgan Stanley clients and products
• Management experience and excellent written and spoken English with an ability to converse confidently by both telephone and email
• Proven client relationship, problem solving and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with Sales and Trading, all levels of the client organization and representatives from Morgan Stanley infrastructure teams
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and exhibit attention to detail and analytical ability
• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel (including use of lookup formulas)
• Bachelor degree or equivalent and relevant experience; fluency in more than one language is an advantage

• Fluency in more than one language is an advantage (e.g. Russian, German, Italian, French)
