Position Summary:
The Client IT Application Specialist provides computer programming support to external customers and internal customers, where applicable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Helps to streamline and enhance data processes.
- Provides technical support to the consulting staff on billable projects.
- Develop and maintain programs that allow for the efficient processing and loading of client data into online data warehouse reporting system.
- May lead efforts to execute technical enhancements on existing data warehouse tools.
- Develop and maintain data warehouse reporting tools.
- Support scheduled bulk data feeds for clients.
- Participate in and supports business development activities.
Additional Considerations:
HCA is looking for a mid-level developer to join the implementation team working on a healthcare data warehousing system utilizing a SQL Server 2008 database and a ASP.NET/VB.NET front-end. This candidate will be exposed to all phases of the software development process and be involved in the implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the company's current applications. Candidate’s primary focus will be on monthly processing of healthcare data for HCA’s data warehouse along with maintenance and support of existing systems. HCA is looking for a self motivated and self managed individual who can thrive in smaller entrepreneur environment.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 or more plus years experience working with data warehousing and programming.
- Proficiency in VB.net, ASP.net, HTML, SQL Server.
