An exciting opportunity exists for a high calibre person to join the Client Management Team within the Global Transactional Services team in Sydney. The Client Manager is key to ensuring that effective fit-for-purpose transactional banking needs are provided to institutional and government customers.
A successful Client Manager is dedicated to the management of transactional banking solutions to institutional and government customers. This includes being responsible for implementing our strategy of client intimacy, understanding the clients business and selling cash management solutions tailored to meet their needs.
You will be an enthusiastic, self-driven and customer focused individual who has a focused approach to account planning and business development. You have a natural ability to build good rapport and be able to leverage those skills to maximise new and/or existing business growth opportunities. Major Accountabilities of Position Include:
- Proactively progress account activities on institutional and government accounts
- Provide innovative fit-for-purpose solutions to meet client needs
- Demonstrate inquisitiveness, creativity and flair and a natural tenacity for achieving results
- Provide support to Industry Relationship Managers and other key stakeholders responsible for business progression
- Enhance key client relationships and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Identify and gather relevant information specific to customer issues, drivers and and opportunities to further extend/enhance transactional solutions
- Manage client relationships and demonstrate depth of exposure in influencing and rapport building skills
- Work closely with Client Enquiry Managers to proactively advance service management opportunities to improve client performance
- Be overall responsible for the management of transactional client relationships and the resolution of client issues arising from complaints/feedback
- Whilst you may not necessarily come from banking, you'll have a background in sales and a history of innovation and generating creative client solutions. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will put you on a path to success in your new career.
