QUALIFIED ACA OR ACCA CLIENT MANAGER JOB WORKING FOR DYNAMIC ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE IN DORCHESTER
Our client is looking to recruit a qualified accountant – either ACCA or ACA – for the role as a client manager.
The successful candidate would need to be able to prepare accounts for both companies and partnerships/sole traders and have a basic understanding of corporation and income tax. Although they do have some retail clients, the majority of their client base is rural businesses, which is mainly farmers. An understanding of farm accounts is therefore essential.
The Client Manager will be responsible for seeing jobs through from beginning to end, which would include the initial accounts preparation, finalising the job, providing any bookkeeping advice, preparing VAT returns and having an annual meeting with the client to discuss the accounts and surrounding issues. The firm would initially provide them with a portfolio based on their specific strengths, of which their work would be overseen by another Client Manager during a probationary period. After which time they would take full responsibility of their confirmed portfolio.
