We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of Client Manager. Located in Sydney and reporting to the Head of Receivables Finance, this role is business critical being the senior client service and operations representative with responsibilities across HSBC market segments Global Banking, Corporate Banking and Business Banking.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Effectively identifying risk and managing the entire client portfolio to ensure zero operational losses due to error or negligent actions;
- Co-ordinating new settlements to ensure new facilities and limits are implemented without delay;
- Identifying key attrition risk accounts and implementing strategies to secure and retain relationships;
- Reviewing annual reviews for pricing and limit appropriateness in order to improve returns;
- Acting as a subject matter expert for operations systems and processes, driving operational efficiency and risk enhancements and acting as the first escalation point in regard to processing issues;
- Playing a key role in delivering exceptional standards and quality of service and contributing to the development of the team and its overall reputation.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role you will need:
- The Higher School Certificate or equivalent qualification;
- A minimum of five years' experience in Receivables Finance and commercial lending, with excellent knowledge of RF products, Personal Property Security Act and Trade Credit Insurance;
- Previous experience in a client contact, relationship management and service environment;
- A strong track record of achieving profit through customer relationships based on trust and mutual value;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both internal external customers.
