Client On-boarding Senior Analyst

The primary accountabilities of the position include processing all existing accounts, in regards to AML / KYC (Anti Money Laundering/Know Your Client) requirements, for transactions booked in theLondonandDublinlegal entities and ensuring that relevant information is updated regularly.

Specific Accountabilities
* Annual, bi-annual and tri-annual review of clients - main responsibility for client review within deadlines;
* Verify AML / KYC requirements for new clients within deadlines to assist Client On-boarding team;
* Classifying new clients in accordance with MiFID and completing all necessary documentation as it relates to the type of client (both regulated and non-regulated) to assist Client On-boarding team;
* Consent Notice reminders - main responsibility to ensure reminders are sent within deadlines;
* Determining compliance with anti-money laundering guidelines;
* Liaising with and providing advice to front office staff / other compliance departments on FSA New Account regulations;
* Enter clients on the Operations Control client database - use various independent sources to obtain key client information required for the database; would include sanction checks if requested;
* Enrich clients on the Operations Control client database - e.g. name changes, address changes (using various independent sources to obtain evidence), new business lines for Credit clients with global Credit lines;
* Required to keep accurate and in-depth audit trails of all in-coming requests, from receipt through execution of request;
* Provide four-eye check and approve other team members' new accounts and periodic reviews both on the paper file and KYC database;
* Attend conference calls / meetings in absence of team leader;
* Provide statistics for outstanding approvals and reviews to Management;
* Take ownership of ad-hoc projects related to the On-Boarding processes and procedures;
* Perform sundry duties and projects as required by Management.

Other Qualifications/Skills
* Up to date knowledge of FSA regulations and anti-money laundering rules
* Excellent knowledge of regulated, listed and sub of listed entities, privately owned companies and exposure to all low, medium and high risk jurisdictions and the risks associated with those higher risk entities
* Excellent knowledge of all fund types, including hedge funds, pension funds, SICAVs, UCITs, recognizing related risks and identifying parties that require full due diligence to be conducted
* Has significant experience of deputizing for Team Manager and as such can provide cover through checking and approving other team members' new accounts and periodic reviews both on the paper file and KYC database;
* Has significant experience of approving reviews and modifications of other regions whereLondonhas a shared relationship.
* Thorough understanding of the trade lifecycle, the groups involved and how decisions impact each area
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to develop tactical solutions to day-to-day problems
* Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and handle high volumes of work in a demanding environment
* Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
* Excellent organizational and time management skills
* Knowledge of the various systems used by the business (e.g. Bloomberg, Calypso, Wall Street Systems, etc) or similar platforms is an asset
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
