Client Onboarding Analyst

UBS is a leading global financial services firm. Our Investment Bank is one of the world’s top global investment banking and securities firms, providing a full spectrum of products to institutional and corporate clients, intermediaries, government and hedge funds worldwide.

The DSG Client Onboarding function supports our salespersons across Equities, FI, Currency Commodity markets and IBD transactions, covering both domestic and international client accounts. The KYC team works to manage the operational risks associated with the introduction of new client relationships to the Investment Bank. This is an internal and external client-facing role, and in many cases the team will be the first exposure for the client to UBS processes. The team is responsible for client KYC document gathering, background checks, document retention and process management for all areas of the Investment Bank.

The individual will gain a good understanding of UBS’s onboarding strategy and products.  This role will look to build on existing internal networks held by the team and document how we can improve them going forward.  There is immediate exposure to many areas at all levels (Legal, Compliance, Front Office Sales, and other Operations units).   As such the individual should look to develop a strong client-service mentality, partnering with all areas of client management.  UBS’s KYC team is integral to the client experience, improving data integrity and adherance to the JMLSG and internal AML policies.
