Overview: The Client Order Management Team serves as the central point of contact for our global clients and internal departments who wish to instruct investment changes. The team will support the International Institutional and business in servicing Clients and their Intermediaries investing into BlackRock's fund ranges. We are responsible for globally receiving, coordinating and facilitating approximately 100,000 trade instructions into/from BLK investment funds. The team supports the client through the investment process from notification through settlement in close coordination with internal BLK groups and our external custodian to ensure trade execution is accurate and consistent with the client's instructions. The COM Associate will be responsible for overseeing, facilitating and coordinating the notification of client investment instructions within the strict time deadlines with an emphasis on risk and quality control. This position has a high level of interdepartmental contact locally and globally. Key Job Responsibilities:

Manage all incoming client phone calls, emails and faxes. Ensure procedures and other important information are properly communicated to all downstream groups and external custodians. Responsible for fielding day-to-day client requests along with inquiries from internal BLK groups, problem solving or directing inquiries where appropriate, while providing high quality client service externally and internally. Continually evaluate and update processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and the existence of adequate controls in order to minimize exposure to risk. Participate and complete special projects as assigned, including automation efforts, system testing, client research, and representing COM in firmwide projects and client meetings. Ensure strong business continuity planning and documentation. Manage day to day assigned tasks to completion. Serve as a contact for clients and their agents for communication of investment instructions into/from collective funds and separate accounts. Facilitation of client trade instructions, verification/confirmation of instructions, compiling of summary data and verification/dissemination of information to internal BLK groups integral to the investment process globally. Exception monitoring of trade and fund dashboards. Ensure procedures and other important information are properly communicated to all downstream groups and external custodians. Work closely with internal and external groups; including, but not limited to, Portfolio Management, Transition Management, Global Client Group, Custody Operations, Client Reporting, Transfer Agents and Custodians. Provide high quality client service externally and internally, answering inquiries and resolving problems from clients as well as internal BLK groups. Develop and maintain strong, productive and effective relationships internally and externally. Skills and Requirements:

BS/BA in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field. 3-5 years of investment industry experience and/or MBA or CFA is preferred. Ability to evaluate processes for inefficiencies and risk exposure. Experience in Asset Management or Fund Administration/Shareholder Services, particularly in unit trust accounting, AML/KYC, commission, retrocessions/trailer, distribution and settlement highly valuable. Understanding of investment operation processes an asset. Understanding of fund valuation/administration a plus. Sales support soft skills an asset. Fluent in English Mandarin, Cantonese, Japanese, or Korean. Innovative problem solving capabilities and ability to think and act quickly. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential. Demonstrated analytical ability, maturity and judgment in dealing with institutional clientele. Organized, self-directed and detailed individual with strong time management skills. Analytical ability to synthesize information and summarize issues. Ability to use factual based data in decision making process while working under critical deadlines. High proficiency in Microsoft Office and an aptitude for learning new applications. Capacity for working effectively and efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
