Client Partner (Life) – France, Northern & Southern recruitment

Responsabilities :

- In this business development/marketing role, you wil be responsible for building-up, maintaining and optimizing the relationships with existing and potential clients and for developing a technical sound and profitable book of business

1. Client management :
- Managing all aspects of a client relationship
- Advising clients on the full spectrum of reinsurance services available
- Coordinating and promoting market activities, including taking an active part in presentations and seminars.

2. Business development and portfolio management :
- Leading and co-ordinating all aspects of business development initiatives
- Developing tailored reinsurance solutions and bring them to completion
- Supporting the Market Unit Head in the financial management and drawing up of the market strategy/action plan
- Supporting pricing, underwriting, claims, and administration departments by providing required information and co-ordinating the activities of the team members.

3. Research :
- Acquiring, analysing and reporting information about the development in the various markets
- Contributing to the development of expertise and knowledge of the team

Requirements

1. Educational and professional backgroud :
- Actuary or MBA or Business School or other financial education
- More than 10 years of experience with 5 years Life Reinsurance
- Experience in the Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and/or Brazilian Markets is a plus.
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese

2. Analytical and communication skills :
- Ability to analyze Life and Health markets/products and propose reinsurance solutions for clients
- Research capabilities to maintain a clear picture of technical, legal and regulatory conditions in the market.
- Strong negociating/advisory skills
- Excellent communicator externally with clients as well as internally within a multicultural team
- Team player, entrepreneurial spirit and behaviour
