The Pacific Regional Group (PRG) Equities team is responsible for managing Pacific Regional equities in JPMAM. Current assets under management amount to $44.5bn comprising regional, single country and Specialist mandates. Clients are located in all major geographies. The investment team of over 60 portfolio managers are supported by teams of client portfolio managers based in London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
Responsibilities
- Senior level client service of a substantial existing client base, including personal responsibility for some of the team's largest clients
- Growing the existing book of business in the US through retail and institutional channels across different global equity investment platforms
- Extensive travel to the United States
- New product development globally
- Coordinating and leading meetings for global clients that pass through Hong Kong
Skills
- Formal qualifications of a good degree
- Portfolio management experience in Asian equities
- Strong fluency English and Chinese, ideally high fluency in Mandarin
- Outgoing personality with the ability to be a self-starter
- Intellectually vigorous and curious
- Strong management and leadership attributes
The role will suit an experienced Client Portfolio Manager or similar, or a candidate with extensive equity investment experience, who can establish immediate credibility with clients, the investment team and internal distribution channels.
