To become an integral part of a specialist team in Deloitte's Advisory group, supporting a small number of high profile clients in the technology industry. The role will be a mixture of client facing activity, liaison with our client's customers, administrative support to the team and opportunity to develop analysis and research activities as you grow into and develop the role. This position will suit a self-starter with good organisation and project management skills, enjoys a vibrant and dynamic team and a desire to develop in a professional practice. It will help to have some interest in the technology sector and there is additional opportunity to develop analytical skills, primarily based around spreadsheets.

Working within a team that is growing rapidly, you will have a varied workload ranging from administrative duties to working on client facing projects. You will be a point of contact for a wide range of personnel including personnel from across the firm, client staff and a wide range of their clients personnel. At Deloitte you will have the opportunity to:
- Interact on a daily basis with members our London team and undertake coordination with our global team
- Get involved in the discovery and analysis work that is performed by client facing teams. Depending on the candidate's aptitude, this may involve undertaking visits to client/customer site to obtain or validate data
- With direction and support from the specialist team, perform analysis on information received to validate completeness or accuracy against pre-defined expectations, highlighting potential errors and omissions and prepare documentation either to enable swifter analysis by the team and our tools or to enable management reviews to be more efficient
- Assist in project management tasks such as arranging conference calls and meetings with disparate personnel across multiple organisations
- Support in budget / billing preparation, the monitoring of actual hours and costs against budget and monitor cash collection
- Set up or amend accounts/projects on SAP/other internal systems, monitor engagement economics, provide status reports to the account manager and close SAP codes when complete
- Update compliance databases to ensure client companies are accurately recorded
- Interact with the scheduling team to monitor resource availability against time requested (and to liaise with the group lead to resolve conflicting staffing requirements against changing project needs)
- From time to time, there may be opportunity for travel within the UK and potentially overseas. Duration of travel can vary from day trips usually up to one week.
- Most importantly, there is opportunity for the right candidate to develop their skill set and technical skills to move into a full-time client facing role, delivering projects and taking on further responsibilities. - A 2:1 degree or above or equivalent qualification (not mandatory for the right candidate as aptitude is the key pre-requisite)
