Client Relations Manager/ Product Specilist

 

The role of the Product Specialist is to support asset gathering and retention activities.  The Product Specialist will own the message about our investment products. The role will involve applying an in-depth knowledge of financial markets together with a unique ability to position the competitive characteristics of our investment capabilities, strategy and performance with our clients.

The role is client facing. The Product Specialist will represent Portfolio Management and is expected to have an in-depth knowledge of financial markets, our investment products and our investment capabilities.

The role is intended to successfully bridge Portfolio Management and Business Development and will require working closely with Portfolio Management, Product Research Development and Sales Distribution to develop the right arguments to support and promote our investment products.

Responsibilities:

o    Develop and drive business opportunities together with Portfolio Management and Sales colleagues globally

o    Develop the marketing identity and articulate a consistent message around product characteristics and the investment capability under coverage

o    Represent Portfolio Management and products under coverage at client meetings in terms of the sales pitch, as well as conducting performance reviews.

o    Drive the client pitch - including the analysis of client requirements, guide strategy choice, guide and where necessary provide RFP content and deliver pitch presentations.

o    Act as the subject matter expert, responding to information requests about investment products under coverage.

o    Develop and drive business opportunities together with Portfolio Management and Sales colleagues globally.
