CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER, GLOBAL SERVICES, SINGAPORE recruitment
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for overall relationship management of assigned accounts, proactive account planning ongoing contact initiatives for larger customers, and profitability of assigned clients.
• Build and enhance current relationships with key clients as well as developing potential future pipelines. Also responsible for cross-selling and marketing of products across State Street.
• Maintain the highest level of client contact ultimate responsibility for the company’s relationship with and retention of existing accounts.
• Has superior product/process knowledge of both the assigned relationship management area as well as other products across State Street.
• Maintain direct client contact on the most significant or sensitive client relationships for contract negotiation, problem resolution, etc.
• Participate with senior management in setting annual business plans and market strategy, and lead in the execution.
• Coordinate relationship management activities with the Sales and Client Service – Operations functions. Act as liaison with internal external groups, coordinate client support with other groups within Global Services or across State Street, and influence the development of products or processes to accommodate client needs.
• Participate with Sales group in selling new products to existing clients and in marketing presentations to prospective clients for current/new products or cross-selling other SSC products to meet their needs. Promote sales through product development and market development.
• Promote State Street and its services through participation in industry associations and conferences. Cultivating and maintaining ongoing relationship with regulators, industry participants and asset consultants.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor degree with minimum 8 years in the financial services industry including minimum of 5 years of experience in client services or relationship management.
• Broad in-depth knowledge of financial service business technology required from a legal, business, and operational viewpoint.
• Demonstrated management, verbal written communication, and interpersonal/leadership skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage both internal and external client relationships.
• Demonstrated a proven track record in sales and/or relationship development and/or client servicing/facing roles.
