Client Reporting – Manager recruitment

 The Manager of Client Reporting will asist the Directors, Managers and Trust team in overseeing the punctual and accurate financial statements fro the Private Wealth arm of the firm.

This individual will adhere to the policy and standards of the group at all times, maintaining the highest level of service both to colleagues and clients.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with and finalise bookkeeping entries for complex structures, as well as year-end ledger close-down procedures.

• Perform quality reviews of financial statements and accounts preparation

• Delegation and control of departmental workload

• Liaise with administrators and auditors to ensure a smooth and effective audit process on client financial statements

• Maintenance of financial statement templates in accordance with relevant issues and appropriate GAAP types

Supervisory/Management responsibilities:

• Oversee the day to day activities and supervision of the team, ensuring the highest level of service is maintained

• Identify training needs, opportunities and room for improvements within the team.

• Take an active role in the performance, recruitment, appraisal and disciplinary process

• Provide assistance to the budgeting process and monitor staff workloads against budget and chargeable hours

• Provide suggestions and input to service improvements for the client and private wealth

• Attend management meetings, making suggestions and implementing decisions taken

• Manage workflow in liaison with Senior Management and Directors in order to ensure the optimum delegation of tasks to various team members

• Actively engage in internal projects

Key requirements:

• A formal accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA etc)

• At least 3 years post qualification experience in a fiduciary or private client environment

• Prior supervisory/management experience and the ability to manage and motivate staff.

• Strong IT skills ideally experience with Navision ValueFinancial

• Excellent interpersonal skills and communicate skills

• The ability to work under pressure and solve problems

• Strong decision-making, time management and organisational skills.

• A strong team-player who can effectively manage their own and others workload

• Fluent/Native English language skills
