Reporting to the Vice President Credit, this is an important role within the Foreign Exchange and Global Treasury businesses of State Street Global Markets, monitoring credit risk exposures and dealing with internal and regulatory policies and requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Support VP Credit in control and maintenance of Foreign Exchange and Money Markets Treasury businesses
- Monitor existing portfolio
- Establish new credit lines obtain and review supporting information
- Prepare internal credit approvals credit rating reviews
- Process approvals and supporting information
- Respond to internal queries and requests, prepare internal reports and data extracts
- Run monitoring and control reports, identify and act on items requiring attention
- Assist VP Credit in preparation and completion of documentation
- Monitor validity and completion of documentation as required
- Arrange for updates/amendments to documentation
- Obtain information and review client details to meet know your customer/Anti-Money Laundering policies
Skills and Experience
- Degree qualified
- Understanding of foreign exchange and funds management businesses preferred
- Sound, demonstrable analytical experience
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- High attention to details
- Prioritisation and multi-task skills
- 2-3 years experience within Credit Risk required
