Macquarie Securities Group (MSG) is a global institutional securities house covering sales, research, ECM, execution and derivatives and delta one activities. MSG uses its research and risk management skills to develop equity-based solutions and services for clients internationally.
The Macquarie Securities Group has an opportunity for a Client Services Analyst to join the Commission Management team in New York.
You will be responsible for:
- Responsible for setting up new commission management clients, pulling together all documents/ agreements, filling out new booking sheets and setting rate tables in commission allocation system "CAS"
- Responsible for the daily administration of our client's commission management programs ie. working with clients to reconcile accounts credits, issue monthly statements, and assist in the facilitation of payments.
- Administer payments of 28E eligible invoices: Accurately review and authenticate eligibility of soft dollar payment from invoice submitted on behalf of a client to ensure compliance with 28E (SEC) regulations.
- Vet Client Vendors designated for Soft Payments: Gather proper documentation to authenticate research data that was provided to clients and payment requirements, such as wire instructions and Tax ID.
- Assist and develop relationships with external brokers and research vendors to create a 3 rd party vendor network for CCA; developed infrastructure to build database and integrate to other sales processes
- Assist in monthly departmental reporting for the commission management group reports to Sr. Management
- Assist in the continued development of our new platform for the Commission Management Business (Commission Sharing Arrangements (CSA), Client Commission Arrangements (CCA), Directed Brokerage, Introducing Broker Arrangements)
- Work closely with Commission Management Team, Finance, Legal Counsel/Compliance and Senior Management in developing an automated payment infrastructure for Commission Management to manage 3 rd party payments with the appropriate risk controls facilitating payments
