Client & Service Delivery Manager

Client and Service Delivery Manager delivering cutting edge Cloud and Infrastructure Managed Services. I Service Delivery Manager still close to the technology who is commercially minded and can not only deliver platinum services to financial services clients, but also spot opportunities and develop the current accounts and client base. This is a financial services/infrastructure/cloud/IAAS services outsourcing organisation which is well placed in the market with an excellent reputation and as such is growing strongly, hence this vacancy. You will be growing this SDM practice and capability, as well as client relationship management and also being the "go to" person for, understanding and representing the people and IT services and contracts, managing these corporate relationships, including resolving issues day-to-day, and Account Management and Account Development: responding to RFPs and finding opportunities within the current arrangements and contracts, guiding the clients towards a mutually beneficial conclusion, developing proposals and doing presentations. Another aspect to this challenging role may in the future be the commercial leadership in the creation and development of Managed Services and SLAs.

The successful candidate will be:
* From a technical infrastructure background (eg Datacentre, Networks, Platforms) or very knowledgeable and capable of talking about these issues with technical and non technical folk - still interested and in touch with technology
* From an infrastructure outsourcing and Managed Services background (at least some experience here)
* Commercially aware and astute, entrepreneurial, understand how managed services are represented in a contract, and be able to understand, modify, negotiate contracts and SLAs.
* A strong communicator, presentable, professional, confident, able to run meetings and present, able to build relationships with everyone from technical to senior people
* Fanatical about taking ownership, want to take ownership of and add value to as much as possible, ambitious.
