Client Service Manager
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES may include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Provides client support and customer service on day-to-day issues with clients. 2. Respond to client requests in both oral and written communications. 3. Acts in a pro-active manner with assigned clients and builds relationships to ensure retention. 4. Interpret plan documents for client plan administration. 5. Works with Plan Sponsors, Brokers, Registered Investment Advisors, Trust Companies and other Third Party Vendors including auditors to: a. Provide plan level calculations. b. Communicate fund actions. c. Communicate and consult on client inquiries, research and resolve issues, provide legal updates, and respond to requests for specialized reports. 6. Assist plan sponsor and intermediaries on the utilization of web-based applications and deliver web demonstrations for financial advisors and plan sponsors. 7. Coordination of client communication and requests of shared accounts with Client Relationship Managers for select clients. 8. Works with clients to correct and fund payroll items and handle distribution requests. 9. Verify and approve quarterly participant statements, client reports, and client invoicing prior to mailing. 10. Coordinate plan compliance testing with Compliance Team. 11. Participation in sales finals presentations. 12. Prepare and facilitate annual client meetings for select clients. 13. Subject matter expert for clients and advisors on services and products. 14. Perform other duties or special projects as assigned that are related to the essential operation of the business unit 15. Travel: 10% – 15% or as needed. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE College degree; 2 or more years of total experience in Employee Benefits with emphasis in the daily 401(k) environment. 2 years experience in SRT (TrustMark) Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong MS Office Skills.
